Blount Memorial Hospital Nurse Recruitment

This is a video I put together to help with Nurse Recruitment at Blount Memorial Hospital. The purpose was to introduce current nurses, show a little bit of what they do, and hopefully give prospective nurses a better feel for what working at Blount Memorial is like. I talked to the Head of Nursing who helped select interview subjects. I prepared a short list of questions to ask each one. We set up in an area of the hospital that was quiet and wouldn't have foot traffic or patients during the interview times.
I set up key lights and back lights for each interview, then sat down next to the camera to ask the questions.
In the editing process I chose the best soundbites from each nurse and assembled them in a way that I thought would flow naturally while keeping the viewers attention. We decided to do short videos for each nurse as well as a longer segment that included all three. I shot some b-roll of each nurse working in the hospital to use in the segments. They were posted to the hospital's YouTube page.
